To transfer the design onto my parchment, I used tracing paper. The design is A5 size, but the gilding only required one gold leaf since I was very economical. It was my first time doing it entirely on my own without a teacher, so the result is not perfect yet (not enough gesso, the gilding is not smooth enough), and the colors still look too much like \u201cprimary colors\u201d&#8230; but at least this allows me to check that I have all the necessary tools, and now I just need to practice diligently.
