In reality, the first button is placed way too low, and the collar doesn&#8217;t stay in place at all despite ironing. I had to add a snap fastener to avoid too deep a neckline, but even then, the shape of the collar remains strange. The pattern seems poorly designed: the collar is pulled inward, which distorts the entire line of the garment. Another annoying detail: the silk-covered buttons. While certainly pretty, they&#8217;re completely unsuitable with classic buttonholes.
