A higher concentration <strong>does not mean more effectiveness<\/strong> but rather more irritation. In general, dermatologists prescribe the 5% concentration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the United States, Benzoyl Peroxide is available over the counter, as is Differin, another product that is much too prescribed by French dermatologists <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mehach.com\/en\/retinol-vs-retinoids-a313-differin-a-passioni-triacneal-the-ordinary-1333\/\">(cf. my detailed reviews here)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When you should use Cutacnyl<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This product is very effective when there is an <strong>area of acne that is starting to spread.<\/strong> It kills the p.acnes bacteria.  Thus, the acne area will not spread any further. It is an excellent product when you don&#8217;t have access to antibiotics because <strong>it stops the spread immediately<\/strong>. It is to be used locally on pimples. Moreover, it should <strong>not be used during the day<\/strong> because of its photosensitizing effect<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When you shouldn&#8217;t use Cutacnyl<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the deep-seated pimples will not have time to &#8220;come to the surface,&#8221; so they will stay there for many months, like a stain. So if you use it on cystic pimples, which hurt, which have no head, well hidden under the skin, they will stay there for several months. They won&#8217;t hurt anymore, but they will be like hard red little balls that you can&#8217;t get rid of. But it will eventually go away after <strong>a few months<\/strong>.
