So I bought a silk pajama top from Intimissimi (\u20ac89.90, fabric: 95% silk, 5% elastane; details: 100% polyester)\u2026 and what a disappointment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the photos on the website, the model looks great: the cut seems well-crafted, the result elegant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another annoying detail: the silk-covered buttons. While certainly pretty, they’re completely unsuitable with classic buttonholes. The buttons slip through buttonholes that are too wide, the top unbuttons itself\u2026 For this type of button, you’d need cords instead, like those seen on certain Asian garments.<\/p>\n\n\n

In summary, this top is very poorly cut. I took a size S, slightly roomier for comfortable sleeping (I wear between XS and S), and yet I woke up with shoulder pain, as if the garment was restricting my movements. I’ve never had this problem with other silk pajamas from other brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
