I know summer is still a long way off, but I’m getting ready now, hoping it will bring the sun back a little sooner. I’ve been searching for THE perfect silk trousers for several years. I’ve had trousers made to measure in Vietnam, but the only Vietnamese silk that isn’t too sheer and doesn’t look too pyjama-like is wild silk. I’ve had a few pairs made and I’m still not a fan of the texture.<\/p>\n\n\n

This year, I want trousers with a tailored waistband, but with legs wide enough that from a distance, they give the impression of a skirt, creating a fluid silhouette \u2014 as if you’re floating. I also want silk satin to bring in some light, and not silk crepe, which minimises the silk effect. After a lot of research, I came across these trousers by Italian brand Forte Forte.<\/p>\n\n\n
