A quick review of Survival 0 is a must because it is one of NIOD’s must-haves. Attention it’s 0 (zero) and not O.

What is it?
S0 is part of the protection range composed of 4 products: S0, S10, S20, S30.the
three others have sun protections. Only S0 does not have sunscreen because it is intended to be used in the evening
.
S0 is an anti-oxidant, designed to protect the skin against aggressions related to the environment and also to our lifestyle (pollution, stress, blue lights, free radicals, infrared). It also reduces the appearance of sun-related damage and increases elasticity without drying the epidermis.
It is advisable to mix S0 with another active ingredient or moisturizer. Personally, I use it mixed with my moisturizing cream.
If you don’t like S10, S20, S30… you can use S0 under a sun cream during the day, for a double protection

Packaging
Like all NIOD products, the packaging is luxurious.
The bottle is made of dark glass, to protect the product from light. The box opens on the side so be careful not to pull too hard and drop the bottle.
We are on the “pump” format instead of a pipette. The pump can be turned off by turning it to the right.
Texture & Odor
The texture is reminiscent of a carrot soup. The smell is similar to it too. I like it very much!
The brand recommends to be careful because the carotenoid, which gives the color of the product, can stain light-colored clothes. In reality, the skin absorbs it so quickly that it does not have time to stain anything.
Note: I don’t find that it stains my sheet or pillows, but I use extremely little product as well: 4 drops all over my face. My skin doesn’t change color either, as you can see on the picture. Between the blue of the CAIS 2, and the carrot color of the S0, fortunately my skin isn’t affected by the colors of the ahaha products.

Notice
Like all NIOD products, everything is highly concentrated, liquid and the skin absorbs everything, without leaving any greasy or other residue. I am delighted to say that “something” protects me from environmental aggressions. The effect will be seen in the long term I think. I will update this article in a few months.
In any case, if a product doesn’t give me pimples, in general, it can only be beneficial for me because my skin is very sensitive and reacts very quickly. And S0 doesn’t give me any pimples. Keep your fingers crossed.
Update 2 weeks later: since I’ve been using S0, my skin no longer buds as soon as I wear a barrier mask. I think that the “good bacteria” provided by S0 help me a lot to maintain an effective protective barrier.
Routine
Here’s how I incorporate it into my routine. The goal is to repair my skin barrier, while lightening acne spots.

Morning CAIS 2 – PR – MMHC 2 – S0 – moisturizing cream with SPF
Night: make-up remover disc – Japanese cleanser or SS – CAIS 2 – RP – MMHC 2- NAAP – S0 mixed with my moisturizing cream
Since there are a lot of products (and they all look the same), I arrange them in order of application, so I don’t have to think every time if I should apply NAAP before S0 or vice versa.
