I gave my micro bag to my niece and I no longer have anything to store my AirPods Pro. I decided to make another one. This time, I wanted to use an invisible snap button but I don’t know why it doesn’t work at all. I had to use a regular snap button and hide it with a fairly thick layer of leather. I think there’s an issue with the design of this micro bag. It’s not elegant enough. I need to find another way (invisible magnets?) to close the bag and secure the AirPods.
That said, this time, I took a lot of time to perfect every detail. I added reinforcements everywhere except on the two gussets. It feels good to make an object without being rushed by time or the immediate need for the object. This allowed me to make better quality handles than last time.
The leather I use comes from scraps from previous projects. The exterior leather is goat leather bought from Relma. The lining is lamb leather from Poulain. Meisi thread and Mando paint.

I’ll let you compare the old micro bag (in blue nubuck) with the new one. As usual, the micro bag has its micro feet & a hole to let the charging cable through.
